The Role You will be part of a tiger-team that targets products within the business where development velocity needs boosting or platforms need re-architecting. This will be done primarily through simplification, technology uplift, automation and leveraging advanced AI tooling. As more of our products look to incorporate AI into their solutions, you will help them select appropriate models and integrate them. You will also help build out and maintain our AI infrastructure. What You’ll Do Your tiger-team will work alongside the existing development teams driving the development, before handing over the new development practices to them. The target technology stack is generally C#, SQL Server and React, but the legacy technology could be anything. Secondary roles include upskilling the development teams you work with and contributing to the definition of our next-gen AI SDLC process. Develop/Redevelop enterprise solutions for Solera’s portfolio of products, primarily in C#. Utilise the evolving range of AI tooling to accelerate development Upskill and handover to the existing product team members, the new codebase/solution What You’ll Bring You are a highly experienced senior software engineer with 10+ years in a senior role, happy to design and deliver projects end-to-end; solo or in a team environment. You will be used to significant autonomy and responsibility to deliver results. Essential skills are: Extensive Full stack C#/TSQL/React hands-on development experience. Self-starting problem solver who is easy to work with Ability to quickly upskill in new technologies and understand complex enterprise environments Excellent communication skills, allowing you to integrate with existing product teams and brief stakeholders. Positive can-do attitude in the face of adversity Practical experience utilising latest AI technologies to accelerate development. (GitHub Copilot preferred) Ability to rapidly develop and ship tested code Solid experience writing automated integration tests, ideally BDD style. Implementing AI solutions in the enterprise.
