We are seeking a Head of AI to lead our AI Laboratory, responsible for driving AI solutions design and delivery for our clients. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on technical expertise and leadership, with deep experience in core AI technologies, agentic-based systems, and modern AI frameworks. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders to define AI strategy, drive AI innovation, and deliver real-world AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), generative AI, and agentic AI systems. Additionally, strong client-facing and communication skills are essential to engage with English-speaking clients, present AI capabilities, and influence AI adoption.

 

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Leadership

· Collaboratively shape and execute the AI vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business and client needs.

· Lead and grow a team of AI engineers, ML researchers, AI architects, Data Scientists, and MLOps specialists.

· Identify opportunities for agentic-based AI systems that enable autonomous decision-making and process automation.

· Establish AI governance frameworks, ensuring ethical AI, bias mitigation, and compliance with industry regulations.

· Stay ahead of AI trends, including multi-modal AI, reinforcement learning, and hybrid AI architectures.

AI Solutions & Technical Execution

· Design and develop scalable AI/ML solutions, including any combination of SLMs/LLMs, NLP, ML Models, computer vision, predictive modeling, and agentic AI applications.

· Lead the development of autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and decision-making.

· Architect AI solutions using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, AutoGPT, and OpenAI APIs.

· Optimize AI systems for accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in production environments.

· Implement MLOps best practices for continuous training, monitoring, and AI lifecycle management.

Client-Facing & Business Engagement

· Act as a trusted AI advisor for clients, guiding them in AI adoption and strategy.

· Engage with senior client stakeholders (C-suite, innovation leaders, product teams) to understand their business challenges and propose AI-driven solutions.

· Communicate complex AI concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to develop AI solution proposals, conduct workshops, and drive client success.

AI Innovation & Knowledge Sharing

· Drive internal AI research and development efforts to build reusable AI assets, accelerators, and AI-driven automation tools.

· Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation by leading AI knowledge-sharing sessions, training programs, and workshops.

· Publish AI thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, webinars) to position the company as a leader in AI consulting.

· Contribute to growing partnerships with cloud providers (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI technology vendors.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

Technical Skills & Experience

· 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.

· Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and agentic AI systems.

· Experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, other), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures.

· Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and AI/ML libraries.

· Hands-on experience in developing AI agents, multi-agent systems, and autonomous AI frameworks (e.g., AutoGPT, BabyAGI, LangChain).

· Knowledge of data engineering, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques.

· Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD for AI, and cloud-based AI deployments (Oracle AI, AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).

Business & Client-Facing Skills

· Strong communication and presentation skills for English-speaking clients.

· Experience in a client-facing role, working with both technical and business stakeholders.

· Ability to translate AI concepts into business value and ROI-driven discussions.

· Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling AI teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Any of the following are a plus but not mandatory)

· Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

· Experience in AI-driven automation, agent-based modeling, or AI orchestration.

· Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.

· Industry expertise in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or other AI-driven domains.

Relevant Past Experience and Roles:

To become an AI Solutions Architect, a candidate should ideally have experience in the following roles:

· AI/ML Engineer: Experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, with a strong foundation in algorithms and data processing.

· Data Scientist: Hands-on experience in data analysis, model building, and statistical analysis, with a focus on deriving insights from data and implementing AI solutions.

· Software Engineer: Background in software development, particularly in areas that require high-performance computing, large-scale systems, or cloud-based deployments.

· Technical Consultant: Experience in a client-facing role, where the candidate has provided technical advice, designed solutions, and supported sales efforts.

· Solution Architect: Experience in designing and architecting software solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and integration with existing systems.
