From integrating large language models to building internal tools that unlock team productivity, you’ll play a key role in helping Ready Computing stay ahead of what’s next.What You’ll DoLead and Deliver Innovation ProjectsOwn end-to-end delivery of innovation-focused initiatives — from discovery and prototyping to development and launchCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define technical approaches that solve complex business challengesJump into projects wherever support is needed — from architecture to scripting, automation, or integration workMaintain flexibility across use cases, adapting quickly to new ideas and technical domains Design & Implement AI-Enabled SolutionsBuild and deploy AI-powered applications using platforms such as Vertex AI, LangChain, and managed LLM APIsImplement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt orchestration, and AI tooling integrations to power automation and insightsSupport data preparation, model integration, and scalable deployment of AI/ML servicesStay informed on new developments in generative AI and machine learning, and explore how they can be applied internally Cloud Architecture & EngineeringArchitect and implement cloud-native solutions using services from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWSSet up infrastructure, networking, IAM, and automation pipelines aligned with cloud best practicesWork with tools like Terraform, Cloud Build, Cloud Functions, Lambda, and container-based deploymentsTroubleshoot and support environments as part of larger project delivery or rapid innovation cycles Experimentation & PrototypingRapidly prototype internal tools, POCs, or lightweight applications to test emerging conceptsEvaluate new platforms, frameworks, and approaches to help define our innovation technology stackPilot internal innovation efforts that accelerate delivery and productivity across the company Collaboration & CommunicationTranslate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical audiencesWork closely with product, engineering, and operations to align on goals and executionDocument best practices, architecture decisions, and outcomes from innovation projectsBe an internal champion for new ideas, helping foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learningWhat You BringStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and serverless/cloud-native servicesProven track record of contributing to or delivering AI/ML projects, ideally using platforms like Vertex AI, LangChain, or LLM APIsProficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScriptAbility to build, integrate, and troubleshoot APIs, automation scripts, or lightweight internal toolsComfortable navigating ambiguous problems and fast-paced innovation cycles with minimal directionStrong cross-functional communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersCurious and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and willingness to explore new technologies and domainsPassionate about solving real-world problems with emerging tech like AI, automation, and cloud platformsExcited to collaborate across departments and take ownership of meaningful, high-impact projectsPreferred QualificationsBA/BS or equivalent work experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of engineering experience across cloud, infrastructure, or AI projectsExperience with platforms like Vertex AI, LangChain, SageMaker, or other AI/ML toolkitsFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative prototypingOral and written fluency in EnglishHome Office RequirementsA minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 1.5 Mbps for uploads is requiredA private Wi-Fi network with a strong, unique password is necessary to access company data or systemsThe company provides a monthly internet stipend.
