Summary
AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Dev Engineer to join our growing team. The engineer will work on a migration from a legacy API system to the newer Graphite system, mainly focused on filling data gaps, enhancing APIs, and ensuring parity with the old system.

Experience Required:

Backend API development (Java/Kotlin; JVM environment).
GraphQL server work (not mandatory but a strong plus).
Writing tests, participating in code reviews, design reviews.
Debugging and diagnosing production issues.
Supporting frontend/mobile teams to ensure proper API integrations.
Participating in standups and cross-functional status meetings.
Skill Requirements:

5 6+ years of backend API development.
Strong experience in Java or Kotlin (either is acceptable).
Experience with relational databases.
Experience working in Linux environments (mandatory).
Familiarity with code reviews, testing, design reviews, and full development lifecycle.
Nice-to-have

GraphQL experience (helps ramp-up).
AWS knowledge (not required, but helpful due to interacting systems).
Degree Requirement

CS degree not required; strong experience is sufficient.
