In this role, you will design, build, and operate backend services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and developer experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of critical systems while shaping technical standards and ensuring operational excellence. Our stack includes TypeScript, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of backend service development experience, with 3+ years working in TypeScript/Node.jsFluency with relational databases and SQLProven ability to ship production systems with high uptime and minimal maintenance burdenStrong commitment to clean code principles and automated testingExcellent communication skills and experience collaborating in remote, asynchronous teamsDeep understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patternsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environmentsFamiliarity with performance profiling, latency reduction, and service-level adherenceBackground in designing and operating event-driven architecturesExpertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GrafanaExperience integrating or interacting with blockchain node software (e.g., geth, Solana validators)Passion for building internal tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiencyAgora operates a centralized USD‑pegged stablecoin platform with robust compliance, security, and governance.
