Senior Front End Software Engineer

Location: On-site, Glen Allen, VA
Schedule: 5 days per week in office

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain multi-tiered enterprise applications. This individual will play a key role in front end architecture and development using Angular while collaborating closely with enterprise architects, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with the ability to communicate complex application concepts clearly to both technical peers and business leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level, multi-tiered applications

Lead front end architecture and development efforts using Angular

Collaborate directly with Enterprise Architects and development teams to improve internal systems, integrations, and utilities

Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to automate and optimize business processes

Present technical solutions and architectural concepts to senior leadership and business stakeholders

Introduce modern technologies and development trends to enhance system performance and productivity

Support both internal and external clients with scalable, maintainable solutions

Required Qualifications

Senior-level experience designing and developing the front end of enterprise applications

Strong expertise in Angular and modern front end development

Experience in Java and AWS environments

Proficiency with web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, Angular, NodeJS

Experience working across Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments

Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with large-scale application engineering and architecture
