The ideal candidate brings expertise in Python, AWS, Gen AI, and web application development.This role involves evolving codebases, extending production pipelines, and building new infrastructure - all while leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies, Gen AI solutions, and Big Data environments.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute full software development life cycle (SDLC)Monitor and maintain our data pipeline and application infrastructures to ensure continuous operation in an AWS environmentDevelop and integrate Gen AI solutions to improve workflows and automationDevelop production-grade software systems that incorporate AI/ML, LLMs, and agentic workflowsDevelop and enhance full-stack applications using Python, Django/Flask, and ReactCollaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and business analysts to define requirements, develop specifications, and deliver software solutionsMonitor and enhance our CI/CD capabilities in GitLabMonitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance user experienceCreate and maintain technical documentation for software systems and processesStay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the teamRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.3-5 years of professional software development experience building enterprise-level applicationsStrong hands-on Python experience with solid programming fundamentalsHands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructureExperience with Gen AI development: LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic systemsProficiency in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOpsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutionsCustomer-centric attitude and passion for providing high-quality servicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with workflow orchestration frameworks such as Metaflow, Nextflow, or AirflowExperience building cloud-native web applications, particularly with ReactExperience with data engineering concepts including SQL, ETL pipelines, and data modelingHands-on experience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience using CDK to deploy and manage AWS infrastructurePhysical DemandsWill work at computer most of the timeTrainingAll job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.Other This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.Annual Hiring Range$100,000 - $120,000Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
