We’re looking for a senior-level web application developer to add to our small team of fewer-than-ten to continue meeting the demands of our growth. The perfect fit is someone who is thrilled to solve problems using the latest strategies with software and cloud-based tools and components. Maybe you’re the kind of person who has never thought about working for a salon company, but really likes the idea of joining a team that’s keeping a 37-state salon company surging forward by deploying an elastic-scaling microservices fleet in the cloud to keep the data moving, customers happy, and bringing the employees the data they need.
Responsibilities● Ongoing development of existing projects while undertaking new development work as projects expand and are added● Diagnose and resolve issues with released or soon-to-release software● Demonstrate a level of excellence and quality of craftsmanship as an example to team members with less experience● Work with architects and other senior-level team members to define and quantify tasks to reach goals and ship releases
You Bring (requirements)● A top-to-bottom comprehension of MVC/SOA web application frameworks (We use PHP/Laravel, and will train to help you adapt if your specialties lie in other like-minded frameworks)● Functional abilities with relational database management systems including schema generation, CRUD queries, and general report-style queries● Proficiency with Git SCM including branches and pull-requests● Functional knowledge of implementing and configuring Docker containers for use in local development environments and production environments● Readiness to engage a SCRUM-style development workflow and tool set to deliver quality code that meets project requirements on time
