Summary:Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack Backend Focused works directly with stakeholders, product,design and the frontend engineering team to develop and extend our enterprise B2B APIs and contentmanagement system. This person will be responsible for development in both the backend API platform(Java/Spring Boot) and the CMS (Optimizely). The Senior Software Engineer should be able to workautonomously, be very detail oriented (think scalable architecture), and be able to see the featuresthrough from inception to delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:● Expertise in back end development using Java/Spring Boot or similar back end frameworks.● Expertise in architecting scalable, highly available and performant enterprise APIs in a B2Bsetting with strict SLAs.● Expertise in developing custom page and block libraries in Optimizely (formerly known asEpiserver).● Expertise in architecting reusable and scalable CMS data structures for consumption onheadless front ends.● Familiar and comfortable with deploying and testing code.● Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts,diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.● Communicate effectively with team members, and management.● Understanding of agile software development concepts and processes. Must be proactive anddemonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker.
