Job Description:
Position:  Senior Snowflake Data Engineer
Location: Hyderabad and Chennai
Experience: 10 + Years
Employment Type: contract
 
Key Skills:
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering Strong expertise in SQL, DBT, and Snowflake
Experience with query optimization and performance tuning Proficiency with Git, Agile tools (Jira, Confluence), and Scrum practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in healthcare, pharma, or other regulated environments Nice to have: Python, Airflow, cloud data platforms
 
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data models and transformations using DBT Optimize and tune Snowflake queries and data models for performance and scalability Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and best practices Follow development standards including Git-based version control and code reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies Take ownership of deliverables and continuously improve data processes
 
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Advanced degree or relevant certifications – preferred
