The Senior SaaS Engineer, Insights & Reporting is responsible for designing and building a flexible, real-time reporting and insights system for Sun Nuclear customers on the OLTP system.Key Areas of Responsibility: Work with the Chief Software Architect on the strategy and design of the new Sun Nuclear Cloud platformUtilize the value/features of the existing ISV product to inform the feature set for the new cloud-based product line.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: At least 5 years of related experience developing reporting tools (not utilizing reporting tools). Deep understanding and familiarity of the many aspects of cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS) from development to deployment to operationsOperated AWS, Azure, GCP or a combinationAble to consume large amounts of information and quickly distilling it into usable knowledgeFamiliar with designing and developing with the principles of reuse, componentization, and the proper level of abstractionStrong knowledge of enterprise software, design principles, CI/CD, and best practice
