About the role
This role is responsible for the hands-on design, development, testing, and maintenance of digital and data platform components supporting pharmaceutical R&D activities. The position focuses on execution, delivering high-quality, validated software solutions that align with established architectural standards, governance frameworks, and platform strategy

Key Responsibilities 
Strong hands-on experience (5+ years) developing full-stack software solutions using Python, Java, C/C++, and/or C# in analytical or data-intensive contexts
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Hive, Neo4J, MongoDB) and analytical data structures
Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is desirable
Practical experience integrating enterprise systems via secure APIs, including authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth, tokens, service credentials), versioned interfaces, and reliability patterns
Strong experience implementing automated testing across the software lifecycle, including unit, integration, performance, and security testing using tools such as JUnit, pytest, NUnit, Apache JMeter, Selenium, and OWASP-aligned security tools
Experience working with distributed data platforms (e.g. Spark, Databricks, or equivalent)
Desirable Experience
Exposure to pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development data, or industry standards (e.g. CDISC, TransCelerate, HL7)
Practical experience applying machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent), including integration of trained models into validated software systems is desirable
Hands-on experience developing or integrating agentic AI systems, including use of agent-centric frameworks (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel or equivalent) and orchestration of controlled, tool-using workflows
Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and platform automation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Kubernetes
Experience working in regulated or quality-controlled environments (GxP experience preferred
