We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of launching the next wave of successful startups. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at UPLabs.us, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality products that align with business goals. Your expertise will help shape the technical direction of multiple projects within our venture ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.Implement and manage APIs and microservices.Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.Actively contribute to code reviews.Participate in architectural discussions and propose technical improvements.Ensure best practices in security, testing, and deployment.Required Skills & ExpertiseBeing open and flexible to contribute to the entire stack, from frontend to backend and data pipelines.Strong understanding of middleware and RESTful API developmentPython: Strong experience with Python for backend development and scripting, using Django, Flask, or equivalent frameworks.React and Typescript: Advanced knowledge of React and Typescript for building dynamic frontend applications.Proficiency in crafting modern, responsive UI designs with Material UI, Tailwind CSS or similarState Management: Proficiency in Redux or Context API for managing application state effectively.Proficiency in backend systems development with Node.js or similar frameworksProficiency in SQL and experience with relational and key value databases like Postgres, SQLite, DynamoDB, & RedisCloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Postman: Skilled in API development, testing and automation.Strong understanding of Git, Git Workflows, and branching strategies for version control.Preferred skillsKubernetes: Knowledge and experience is a bonus but not requiredDAPR: Knowledge and experience is a bonus but not requiredExperience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, deployment patterns and infrastructure management.Background in Agile/Scrum environments
