In addition, certifications that endorse our company as a great place to work.   Responsibilities Design and implement automation solutions to improve developer productivity and system reliability. Build and maintain shared platform services, libraries, and infrastructure components. Develop integration patterns and tooling for internal and third-party systems. Provide architectural guidance and technical consultation to engineering teams. Implement contract testing strategies to reduce integration issues. Work with authentication and identity systems across platforms. Contribute to event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing systems. Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture decisions. Participate in code reviews and define engineering best practices. Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience. 2+ years in a senior or platform-focused role. Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Ruby preferred or Python). Working knowledge of Node.js or Go. Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS). Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with infrastructure as code. Experience with deployment automation. Familiarity with event-driven systems and messaging patterns. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to use AI tools to enhance development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed. Nice to Have Experience with contract testing tools (e.g., Pact). Experience with identity federation (SAML, OAuth, Azure AD / Entra ID). Experience with WebSockets or real-time systems. Experience building internal developer tools, SDKs, or shared libraries.
