The salary range for this position is $150,000 - 175,000 annually. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications and local market conditions. Please note, the foregoing salary range does not reflect an employee’s total compensation package, which may include bonus, company equity, and health benefits.Responsibilities
Development of new products, features, APIs, and user experiences.
Build robust infrastructure to support new services and products.
Contribute to engineering best-practices.
Work with product and design to inform trade-offs and scalability concerns.
Qualifications
 8-10+ years of relevant Software engineering experience with a majority in Backend Engineering
Degree in computer science or related field is preferred 
Industry experience building data-driven applications with Javascript, Node.js,  (async/promise), noSQL(mongo/mongoose), elastic search, RMQ (AMPQ), Jest, mocha, docker, typescript, ts-migrate, SQL (mysql)
Understanding Protocols: SOAP, REST, XML, JSONTools: AWS, redis, postman, vscode, Robo3T
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills required to be highly effective
React (for tools and views), nextjs, nestjs - preferred
Prior Architectural design
Excited to use AI coding tools - Claude Code, Github Copilot, Cursor
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Prior Automotive SaaS or Fintech experience is a plus
