Position Overview:Software Test Engineer to  create and maintain test deployments, assist staging and production  deployments, troubleshooting exercises, design, plan, run automated  tests for BroadCloud applications.Primary Responsibilities:• Set up and maintain the different test environments  for use by QA team in US and India.• Work with Operations, Engineering or other teams wherever necessary to resolve set up issues.•  Troubleshoot issues in specific customer environment, and provide  access to the same for engineering  for critical customer issues.• Work with Ops to verify, generate specific upgrade instructions. • Design and execute automated tests for specific deployment requirements.• Communicate clearly and document the testing activities with other team members, engineering. • Maintain manual and automate test artifacts like scripts, test plans in a repository. Skills and Educational Requirements:Skills, Knowledge, Attributes:• Good communication and analytical skills.• Passion to learn and excel in the field of software engineering.• Working knowledge of Windows and Unix OS. Exposure to Mac OS, iOS is a plus.• Exposure to Scripting, Web Technologies is a plus.Experience:•None expected. Any exposure to the field of Software Engineering is a plus.**May involve working off hours periodically depending on the requirement.**Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
