Position Overview
As the Lead Front End Developer, you will be responsible for owning the frontend architecture, guiding implementation standards, and mentoring a team of frontend engineers. You will work closely with backend, product, and design teams to deliver performant, maintainable, and intuitive user experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will write code, review code, guide design decisions, and help grow the team technically and professionally.

Position ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing technical guidance, reviews, and coachingOwn frontend architecture decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainabilitDesign and build complex user interfaces using Angular and/or ReactWork with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks and toolingBuild and integrate frontend applications with APIs and event-driven backend servicesDevelop applications using Next.js and NestJS where applicableEstablish best practices for component architecture, state management, performance, and securityReview pull requests, enforce coding standards, and improve code qualityCollaborate with product and UX teams to translate requirements into clean technical solutionsStay hands-on with development while balancing leadership responsibilitiesIdentify technical debt and drive refactoring and improvements
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills7+ years of professional frontend development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Angular and/or ReactAdvanced knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScriptExperience with Node.js, NestJS, and frontend/backend integration patternsExperience building applications with Next.jsStrong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalabilityExperience leading teams, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviewsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflowsStrong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to HaveExperience working on fintech, trading, or real-time data platformsFamiliarity with microservices-based backend architecturesExperience with frontend testing frameworks and strategiesExposure to cloud environments (AWS or equivalent)
