The candidate will be responsible for compliance with departmental policies and processes and for performing all duties and activities safely and ethically.   IT Requisition Support Enter IT commodity requisitions into the SRNS Supply Chain Management application Interface with IT personnel to coordinate new and existing software maintenance contracts Interface with IT and Procurement personnel to process and track purchase requisitions forNew and existing software maintenance contracts IT Governance Support Assist in supporting the SRNS IT Governance process Review purchase requisitions for security risks Track Governance initiatives through their lifecycle Procedures Utilize ITS Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guides such as software, configuration,governance, cyber security, purchasing, and project management policies Customer Service Must learn to think of the customer as the most important part of the job Involves dealing with and/or responding positively to complaints, problems, and sometimesnegative and emotional behavior from customers Promote a professional customer support image Work well with other Information Technology Groups Interact with IT personnel during the Requisition process Interact with Procurement and Financial personnel as needed during the Requisition process Interact with the IT personnel and other site personnel as needed during the IT Governanceprocess Communication Keep peers and supervisors informed of trends, significant problems, unexpected delays, and anything new in the environment Keep customers informed of progress on processing requests Clearly explain processes and technologies to customers. Listen to and understand customerquestions and feedback REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience:  4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related; or a nonrelated 4-year degree with 2 years of proven performance in related assignment(s). Need formal and informal training in assigned technologies; guidance and direction will come from senior technical personnel in a variety of areas; and participate in ongoing professional development training. Demonstrate Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Filemaker Pro, Lotus Notes, and Windows Operating System. Demonstrate ability to apply formal training. Work Hours:A 40-hour work week is scheduled. Candidate may be permitted to telework all 40 hours under thetelework policy, but the decision is at the discretion of SRNS management. A set schedule onworkdays/hours will be determined upon the candidate's arrival; preferred options are either 5- or 8-hourdays or existing site schedule on AA shift (9-hour days, every other Friday off, Fridays worked isan 8 hour day). Each workday has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
