Job Description
This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

● Be the go-to technical expert for Shopify and BigCommerce technical capabilities as well as the broader ecosystem of eCommerce applications
● Keep up to date with industry trends, new platforms and technologies and share your knowledge with our internal teams
● Produce high-quality, maintainable, tested code using established frameworks, and common design patterns
● Manage code reviews and provide assistance and support to other Developers
● Provide escalation support, coaching and mentoring other team members, individually and collectively to improve their skills
● Contribute to sales proposals, solutions, business requirements documents, and due diligence work from a technical point of view
● Leads delivery for key projects or tasks that support Tech Services program of work.
● Be accountable for the accuracy of developer time and cost estimates and contribute to solutions
● Developing an agency-first mentality in highlighting scope creep. Ensuring that any overages are addressed with Delivery Managers to resolve in a timely and appropriate manner
● Understand the core technical requirements of our clients and how to best advise our Sales and Delivery teams in meeting those requirements
● Fulfill an agreed number of developer hours

Requirements
Requirements:

●  Tertiary qualifications in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/ or
significant industry experience working in an IT service or operations environment. (5+years)
●  Knowledge and understanding of Shopify and/or BigCommerce SaaS platforms including building
and launching stores, configuring third-party apps and migrating data
●  Thorough understanding and commercial experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and
demonstrable experience with Python, PHP or other high-level languages such as Java, C#
● Deep understanding of and expertise with AWS or other cloud platforms, CI/CD procedures, and
contemporary development techniques.
●  Strong ability to analyse and interpret business needs and develop appropriate solutions.
●  Strong customer-centric and knowledge-sharing mindset.
●  Thorough understanding of software delivery lifecycle and Agile methodology
●  Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
●  Displays honesty, openness, fairness, transparency and integrity in line with the Moustache
Republic value
