The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our remote-first engineering team. This is a crucial mid-to-senior level role where you will take ownership of features across our entire stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services, and play a direct role in supporting the engineers building their own products using our platform. Your work will directly influence the functionality, scalability, and performance of our core product. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Features: Design, implement, and test new features and services for our core e-signing platform using Node.js, Express, and React.
Full-Stack Ownership: Work across the entire application stack, ensuring seamless integration between front-end components and back-end APIs.
Code Quality & Performance: Contribute to code reviews, optimize application performance, and maintain a high standard of code quality, security, and reliability.
Customer Solutions Engineering: Serve as a point of contact for client engineers, providing sample code and API calls, technical support, and assistance with integrations, troubleshooting, and best practices. Excellent communication skills are paramount for this duty.
Infrastructure & Deployment: Participate in the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our services in cloud environments.
Documentation & SDKs: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our developer documentation and open-source Software Development Kits (SDKs).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, 8+ years preferred.
Expertise in Typescript/Javascript Ecosystem: Deep proficiency with the core technologies in our stack, including NodeJS, ExpressJS, Prisma ORM, and React.
Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including writing efficient queries and designing schemas.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both internal teams and external client engineers.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Independent & Proactive: Highly capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and taking initiative in a remote environment.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Web Components and frameworks such as StencilJS and Storybook.
Experience with PostgreSQL and concepts such as row-level security (RLS).
Familiarity with cloud computing services, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
Prior experience contributing to or maintaining open-source SDKs or libraries.
Knowledge of e-signing standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.

Compensation
Mid: $120k–$145k base + 0–5% bonus + equity
Senior: $140k–$165k base + 5–7.5% bonus + equity
