Long Description
Senior Devops Engineer Contract / Full TimeRemote Positon Skills Required: • Experience in the area of Release Management/Infrastructure Management • Demonstrates a good understanding of DevOps practices • At least one End to End CI/CD Implementation experience • Excellent Problem Solving and Debugging skills in DevOps area • Good understanding of Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) • Hands-on Build/Package tool experience • Understands the nuances of support activities and proactive in assessing issues • Good at handling escalations in terms of DevOps activities • Works independently without any supervision • Up to date with the current Cloud Engineering concepts • Experience with AWS services – Glue, Athena, Lambda, EC2, RDS, EKS/ECS, ALB, VPC, SSM, Route 53 • AWS Solutions architect certification would be preferred • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipeline for Glue jobs, Athena, Lambda functions • Experience architecting interaction with services and application deployments on AWS • Knowledge of IAM policies, security groups • Experience with terraform • Experience with Groovy and writing Jenkinsfile • Experience writing Ansible playbooks • Experience with Git • Experience with repository management, code scanning/linting, secure scanning tools • Experience with deployments and application configuration on Kubernetes • Knowledge of working with Openshift for deployments , configmaps, secrets
