This role is pivotal in harnessing data-driven insights to optimize operations, enhance sustainability, and drive efficiency in the industry.  This role will be focused on enabling the business to leverage data to address the unique challenges and opportunities within the energy and utility sector.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Integration and ETL Development:  Collaborate with energy and utility domain experts to understand specific data requirements, including metering data, consumption trends, and grid performance.  Define and implement Data Warehouse structures including dimensional models, semantic layers for “schema on read” capabilities. Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data from diverse sources into Oracle and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.  Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability, especially in scenarios involving real-time data streams.  Oracle and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse Manage and maintain the Oracle and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, ensuring it is optimized for the unique needs of the energy sector.  Configure and maintain data models that cater to energy consumption analysis, demand forecasting, and infrastructure monitoring.  Collaborate with Oracle and NetSuite administrators to ensure data security, scalability, and performance.  Dashboard Development:  Create intuitive and informative dashboards tailored to the energy and utility sector's key performance indicators (KPIs), such as reliability, demand fluctuations, and sustainability metrics.  Work closely with energy analysts and operational teams to gather dashboard requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.  Implement real-time monitoring capabilities within dashboards for management and outage analysis.  Data Governance and Compliance:  Establish and enforce data governance practices   Maintain comprehensive documentation of data lineage, transformations, and data sources to facilitate audits and compliance reporting.  Performance Monitoring and Optimization:  Monitor the performance of ETL processes and dashboards, proactively identifying bottlenecks and addressing performance issues.  Optimize data workflows for efficiency and scalability, considering the growing volumes of data in the sector.  Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, energy engineers, utility analysts, to align data solutions with business goals.  Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).  Proven experience as an ETL developer and dashboard developer.  Expertise in NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, along with strong Oracle PL/SQL skills.  Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., NSAW, Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica, Talend) and data visualization tools (e.g., NSAW, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).  Knowledge of energy data sources, metering systems.  Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to data accuracy and security.  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Relevant certifications in Oracle or NetSuite.  Familiarity with IoT devices and sensors used in the energy and utility sector.  Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive maintenance and demand forecasting.  Understanding of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Warehouse, AWS, etc.)
