Primary Responsibilities KeHE is looking for experienced engineers that are passionate about backend API's and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates have a desire to automate development process, scale and optimize efficiently, a strong technical competency, opinions on future technologies, and most importantly, thrive in a team environment. Essential Functions Domain Knowledge Proficient with KeHE engineering stack and preferred tools/style; able to design interfaces and reusable components for their own team; understands scaling, reliability, and maintenance trade-offs as they occur in practice. Introduces new architecture and emerging technologies through experimentation and demonstration.Teaching and Mentoring Consistently helps new hires and more junior engineers to "level up" and become more proficient over time; offers demos, talks, and recommendations to help their own team and others be more productive and ship better product.Culture and Leadership Helps to continuously maintain and improve quality across the stack; performs regular interviews for positions on the same team. Introduces new concepts and challenges pre-existing patterns to ensure the team is staying technologically relevant.Customer Success Consistently delivers systems and features that provide significant value to customers and/or other teams; responds to escalated customer issues and incidents in a proactive, timely fashion.
