Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in software engineering (backend, API, or full-stack)
Proficient in Python, Java, or C#
Experienced with REST APIs (FastAPI, AWS Lambda) and OpenAPI specifications
Skilled in data pipeline orchestration (dbt, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Iceberg)
Knowledgeable in federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, HIPAA, FISMA High)

Preferred / Bonus:
Prior work with DHA, VA, or federal healthcare IT programs
Experience with FHIR, OMOP, HL7, CDA, or other healthcare data standards
Familiarity with OCR, NLP, AI/ML workflows for healthcare data
Exposure to AWS GovCloud (IL5/IL6) or secure cloud environments
Experience in MOSA frameworks or DDIL environments

What You’ll Do:
Develop secure APIs and cloud-native services for DHA systems
Build and maintain data pipelines to normalize structured and unstructured data
Integrate healthcare data into FHIR and OMOP standards for analytics and decision support
Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to deploy applications in secure, high-compliance cloud environments
Ensure software is scalable, compliant, and maintainable while enabling rapid delivery
