Responsibilities
Select Medical Corporation d/b/a Select Medical in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks Software Development Engineer. Responsible for software development activities in support of Select Medical’s inpatient applications. Review, analyze, and modify programming for enterprise application systems and websites including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems in accordance with project plans and specifications. Lead the development of medium-size software applications and perform software development tasks utilizing C#, VB.Net and JavaScript. Evolve the architecture to support future requirements and define Service Level Agreements. Perform code review. Provide technical mentoring to the more junior developers. Build and consume APIs.
Qualifications
Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of software development work experience; using programming languages: C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript; building and maintaining efficient database systems to manage large, scalable datasets; and building and consuming APIs. Remote work permitted up to 80% of the time.
