And this is where you come in :) About the Role: In partnership with a leading insurtech company, we develop and implement a corporate underwriting system. The platform allows for easy customization and building solutions tailored to specific business needs. We deliver long-term, business-critical projects for insurance clients in the United States. We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join the team and contribute to building secure, high-quality, and reliable software solutions. Key technologies and tools: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, Docker. Methodology: Scrum Responsibilities: Design and develop backend solutions based on business and technical requirements Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs Ensure high quality, security, and reliability of delivered software Create and maintain technical documentation Perform code reviews and support best engineering practices Write unit and integration tests and support production readiness Participate in Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement Join us if you have: 6+ years of experience in Java-based projects Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Hibernate Experience working in distributed, international teams Solid understanding of secure coding practices and building robust systems Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong focus on code quality and maintainability Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset Nice to have: Experience or knowledge of the insurance domain Additional information: This is a fully remote position We are looking for candidates based in the United States Collaboration expected primarily during ET/CT business hours to ensure effective teamwork with the client We are an equal opportunity employer.
