Numerator is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python/React) to join our team. As part of our Verified Voices team, you will be a key driver in defining the technical direction for the platform, owning services across the entire stack—from the database and API layer to the user-facing interfaces. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will mentor junior engineers and own critical features from architectural design through deployment. What You'll Be Doing: Fullstack Ownership: Drive the design, architecture, and implementation of high-performance, scalable features across the entire application stack, from backend Python microservices to modern React/TypeScript frontend interfaces. Frontend Development & UX: Lead the development of rich, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces using React, Redux/State Management, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring an excellent user experience. Backend Architecture & APIs: Define, build, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and modern frameworks to power the Numerator Insights platform. System Reliability & Optimization: Manage and maintain the underlying cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and databases, ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of both frontend and backend systems. Technical Mentorship & Standards: Drive engineering best practices, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers on fullstack design patterns, testing, and operational excellence. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, UX/UI Designers, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements and design mockups into technical specifications and scalable, shippable product features. Strategic Evaluation: Proactively evaluate and implement new fullstack technologies, libraries, and architectural patterns (both Python and React ecosystem) to accelerate development and improve system efficiency.   What You'll Bring to Numerator 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development, with a focus on both Python backend and modern JavaScript/React frontend frameworks. Frontend Expertise: Proven mastery of React, including functional components, hooks, and advanced state management (e.g., Redux, Context API). Experience with TypeScript is a strong plus. Backend Expertise: Mastery in designing and developing scalable, high-availability microservices and RESTful APIs using Python. Expertise in database design, performance tuning, and optimization with relational databases (e.g., MySQL or Postgres). Deep understanding of web architecture, cloud principles (preferably AWS), and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization (Docker) and container-orchestration (Kubernetes). A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or some related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical leadership.
