About The RoleB-Yond is seeking a Senior C++ Security Engineer to support a FIPS-compliant initiative within a high-scale endpoint management platform. This role will focus on cryptographic system design, secure network communication, and cross-platform software development in C++.The ideal candidate has deep experience in modern C++ (C++14+), OpenSSL, and network programming, with a strong understanding of secure software engineering practices and FIPS requirementsResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure, FIPS-compliant cryptographic components in C++Work extensively with OpenSSL for cryptographic operations and secure communicationsDevelop networked applications using Boost and Boost.AsioImplement secure communication protocols and encryption mechanismsMaintain and enhance cross-platform build systems using CMakeEnsure secure coding standards and compliance with cryptographic best practicesCollaborate with architecture and product teams to integrate secure componentsSupport packaging and dependency management using Conan (preferred)Contribute to Python-based tooling where applicableQualifications7+ years of experience in C++ development (C++14 or later)Strong hands-on experience with OpenSSLDeep understanding of cryptography and secure software designExperience with network programming and secure socket communicationStrong knowledge of Boost, particularly Boost.AsioExperience using CMake for build automationExperience building cross-platform systems (Windows/Linux/macOS)Preferred QualificationsExperience with Conan package managerPython scripting experienceExperience working in FIPS 140-2 or 140-3 validated environmentsBackground in systems-level or performance-sensitive software
