Remote | Full time

Compensation:  $180K - $250K



Join a stablecoin platform for builders, providing a superior digital-dollar building block that allows developers to create and customize their own stablecoins in minutes. This platform enables businesses to monetize digital dollar use cases and maintain control over their money tech stack without operational heavy-lifting, offering features like custom branding, compliance behaviors, and yield distribution mechanics.



We are seeking an experienced Protocol Backend Engineer to enhance our growing set of digital-dollar extension projects, create and maintain comprehensive documentation, and support technical teams from external partners.



Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated on-chain minting and cross-chain stablecoin liquidity management solutions.
Deploy modern web applications using best practices to ensure security, compliance, and high availability.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems to guarantee high-uptime, low-latency user experiences.
Mentor mid-level engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
Promote agile practices to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.




Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Rust.
API Development: Advanced backend experience with a proven history of building scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.


Web3/DeFi Knowledge:

Direct experience with DeFi applications (e.g., lending, derivatives, AMMs, stablecoins), with the ability to design and implement complex on-chain financial logic.
Basic understanding of smart contract development for EVM-compatible chains (and optionally non-EVM chains like Solana, Sui).




Cloud & DevOps:

Practical experience deploying and managing applications across multi-region cloud platforms.
Proficient with CI/CD processes and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus: Prior experience with the Fireblocks API is a plus.
