Responsibilities

 Implement technology solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations
 Develop high quality code that can function with existing code, patterns and architectural techniques
 Leverage AI-assisted development tools (eg: Claude/Cline) to accelerate development and improve code quality
 Follow structured agentic workflows (setup-plan-act) when implementing features and solving technical problems
 Effectively utilise development best practices such as CI/CD
 Active participation in team agile development practices
 Ensure appropriate quality is maintained through practices such as unit testing
 Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion

Qualifications

 Expertise in modern API technologies & microservices,
 An understanding of API gateway technologies such as Kong &/or Apigee
 At least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Node or Python) and have a willingness to learn new ones
 Working knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cline or similar platforms
 Ability to effectively prompt and guide AI coding assistants to generate high-quality, production-ready code
 Basic knowledge of AI code generation limitations and security considerations
 Agile software delivery
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
