Full-Stack Platform Engineer Remote · Full time Company website Apply for Full-Stack Platform Engineer As a Full-Stack Platform Engineer in our Product Engineering organization, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Condor's financial cloud platform, the trusted infrastructure that pharmaceutical and biotech companies rely on to manage financial operations for clinical trials. This role emphasizes backend architecture and platform development, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI integrations that enhance our product capabilities. You’ll work as a core member of a cross-functional agile team, partnering with product managers, designers, quality engineers, and data specialists. You will help architect and implement backend services, enhance cloud-based platform infrastructure, and support integrations with both internal systems and emerging AI-driven workflows. Description Key Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services, APIs, and platform components that power Condor’s financial cloud. Build and maintain platform infrastructure with a serverless architecture Collaborate with AI/ML engineering and product teams to design backend interfaces that integrate with LLM-based agents, retrieval systems, and automated reasoning workflows. Build backend logic to support complex workflows related to clinical trial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting. Build frontend components and interfaces as needed to support full-stack feature delivery, using React Investigate and resolve complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending and implementing long-term architectural improvements Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following internal development standards and best practices Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning, contributing to platform evolution and scalability strategies Mentor team members on backend best practices, system design, and technical excellence Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with strong emphasis on backend development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Proven track record of building and scaling backend systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications Deep expertise in at least one backend programming language  (Python preferred, but others, such as Go, are acceptable) and associated frameworks (Django, Flask, etc) Understanding of full-stack development including frontend frameworks, though backend is the primary focus Preferred Qualifications Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or Flask Experience with TypeScript and React for full-stack feature development Hands-on experience integrating backend services with LLM-based systems (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar AI platforms) Experience building agentic AI workflows or AI-powered automation features What We Offer Competitive compensation and meaningful equity participation Comprehensive employee benefits, including 100% company-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) plan with a 3% company match that vests immediately Unlimited PTO Condor is an equal opportunity employer.
