Job Summary:

Interviews Chat is an AI platform that helps people ace their job interviews. They are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale their core product, focusing on both frontend and backend development to provide reliable features for users during live interviews.


Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain features across the frontend and backend of our web app.
• Work on real-time experiences (live transcription, suggestions, session state).
• Collaborate closely with product and support to turn real user problems into solutions.
• Design and implement APIs, data flows, and backend logic.
• Improve performance, reliability, and overall product quality.
• Contribute to architectural decisions as the product and team scale.


Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong experience as a Full-Stack Engineer on modern web applications.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and frameworks like React and Next.js.
• Comfort working with backend systems, APIs, and databases.
• Ability to reason across the stack and make pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
• Good written communication in English.


Preferred:

• Experience with real-time systems, browser extensions, or Electron apps.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps basics.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or small teams.
