NeueHealth is looking for a Frontend Engineer to assist in the development of several full stack product solutions. As a member of the applications development team, you will assist in the coding and testing of frontend features. On top of development, you will be expected to follow proper coding process, participate in code reviews and attend design sessions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners and our UX team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
The Software Engineer 2 job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items. 

Collaborate directly with teammates to solve business needs and drive solutions to solve key business priorities.  
Contribute across the complete development lifecycle, including technical design, work estimation, implementation, testing, and addressing feedback or bugs.  
Peer review team member's code and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.  
Create documentation and processes as needed to improve team productivity and transparency.  

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience required.  
Three (3) or more years of software development experience and/or a reviewable portfolio of work.  
Frontend experience with knowledge of React/Next.js is required.
Experience building/deploying/maintaining scalable and always available consumer facing products.  
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM).   

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES 

Experienced with ORM and API development
Experienced with coding components and working with Storybook
Familiarity with Azure Cloud or similar technologies  
Ability to estimate work effort
Strong work ethic plus follow-through on commitments
Proven track record of high standards for self, team, company, and ultimately clients  
Proactive approach to problem solving (acting without being told, driving for measurable results, etc.).  

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $94,419 to $141,629. Actual compensation will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. Additionally, employees are eligible for health benefits; life and disability benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with match; Paid Time Off, and paid holidays.
