All positions are remote, customer-facing, and travel-heavy, with strong training, consistent overtime, per diem, and long-term stability. Open Positions & Preferred Locations We have several openings, each with a technical focus and regional preference: 1) West Punch Service Technician (Mechanical-Heavy) West Coast WA / OR / ID preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting Punching machines, motion systems, drives • West Coast residence required 2) 3D Laser Field Service Technician (Mechanical-Heavy) Michigan or Ohio preferred 3D laser cutting systems Mechanical + electrical troubleshooting Travel includes U.S. and Canada 3) 2D Laser Field Service Technician (Electrical-Heavy) Mid-East Coast (PA / NJ / MD / VA region) Electrical, controls, PLCs, CNC systems High-power fiber laser experience a plus 4) Bending / Robotic Systems Technician Virginia or nearby states preferred Automated bending cells Robotics experience required (Fanuc, KUKA, or similar) Robot programming, teach pendant use, safety systems All roles require living within 1 hour of a major airport. What You’ll Be Doing (All Roles) Travel to customer sites to perform installations, service, repairs, and upgrades Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, PLC, CNC, and robotic issues Disassemble and rebuild equipment mechanically and electrically Perform software updates on HMI, PLC, CNC, and robot controllers Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and block diagrams Perform preventative and predictive maintenance Train customers on operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting Document service activities, findings, and resolutions in detail Provide phone/email support when not traveling Core Qualifications (Varies Slightly by Role) Experience servicing industrial machinery, CNC equipment, or capital equipment Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical and/or electrical depending on role) Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings PLC and CNC experience Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge Comfortable working independently in the field Strong communication and customer-facing skills Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel 80–100% Additional for Bending / Robotics Role: Robot operation, troubleshooting, and basic programming Teach pendant experience Understanding of robot safety, I/O, sensors, and safety circuits Experience with Fanuc, KUKA, or similar platforms Compensation & Benefits (All Positions) Hourly pay + overtime $90/day per diem when traveling Travel expenses paid in advance Medical, Dental, Vision (effective 1st of the month after hire) Company-paid life insurance (up to $50,000) Short- and long-term disability (company paid) 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off starting at 15 days/year 12 paid holidays Tools, uniforms, and full technical training provided Why This Role?
