This is a critical, high-impact role for someone who loves both building robust data infrastructure and unlocking the insights hidden within that data.   You won't just be running queries; you'll be building the data pipelines that make them possible. You won't just be building models; you'll be deploying them into production to directly influence our business. Your work will fundamentally improve how we match thousands of talented individuals with the world's best companies. What You'll Do Data Engineering (Approx. 60%): Build & Maintain Pipelines:Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL data pipelines to ingest and integrate data from our core platforms. Own the Data:Manage and model our cloud data to ensure data is clean, reliable, discoverable, and optimized for performance. Ensure Data Quality: Implement data validation, testing, and governance practices. You'll be the champion for data integrity across the organization. Data Science (Approx. 40%): Conduct Deep-Dive Analysis:Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to answer complex business questions, identify trends, and find "a-ha" moments in the data. (e.g., "What factors correlate with successful talent placement?" or "What patterns do our top clients share?"). Partner with Stakeholders:Work directly with AI, product, sales, and marketing to understand their business problems and translate them into formal data questions. Ideate Features & Hypotheses:Use your analysis to identify and propose high-impact features for our AI/ML Engineers to test in their models.  Communicate & Visualize: Deliver actionable insights and create clear, effective reports and dashboards to drive business decisions. Core Qualifications (The Must-Haves) 3-5+ years of experiencein a data role, with demonstrated experience in both data engineering and data science/analytics. Expert-level SQL:You are completely at home writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and modeling data. Strong Python Skills:You are proficient using Python for data manipulation (Pandas), analysis, and scripting and basic understanding of ML/AI related libraries (scikit-learn, Pytorch, etc) Data Pipeline Experience:Proven experience building and managing data pipelines using tools like Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, or similar. Cloud Data Warehouse Fluency: Hands-on experience with a major cloud data warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Strong Analytical & Statistical Skills:Proven experience in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and turning raw data into a clear narrative. Business Acumen: You can connect the dots between a business question and the data required to answer it. Clear Communicator: You excel at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications (The Nice-to-Haves) M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field. Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle (even if you don't build the models) and MLOps practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
