Role: Zuora Data Analyst WITH STRONG SQL AND SNOWFLAKE EXP Location: REMOTE Duration: LONG TERM   REQUIRIED: SNOWFLAKE AND ZOURA.  NEED SOMEONE THAT CAN MIGRATE DATA FROM ZUORA INTO SNOWFLAKE. Project Description urgent, top-priority initiative to automate renewal forecasting that currently relies on manual Excel workflows and runs on a monthly cadence. Phase 1 is focused on automating "Zuora Beta report / pipeline” (an active subscription point-in-time report) that is handed from Billing to FP&A for forecasting. The goal is to move toward daily (ideally) or weekly refreshes in their Snowflake environment and reduce operational risk tied to spreadsheet-driven processes. This role is heavily focused on Zuora discovery, documentation, and translating current Zuora reporting outputs into clear, warehouse-ready requirements (field mapping, definitions, keys/grain, edge cases, and validation/tie-outs). Client has internal resources that can support deeper dbt development if needed, so the priority is a strong Zuora + SQL profile who can drive discovery/design activities and work closely with engineering for implementation. Must Have Responsibilities  Zuora experience: comfortable navigating Zuora data and building/using custom reports; understanding subscription/active subscription reporting. Strong SQL: advanced querying + data profiling; can translate report logic into clear mappings/requirements (keys, grains, filters, edge cases). Discovery + documentation: able to document current-state process (Billing → FP&A → Excel) and produce a functional requirement pack quickly. Stakeholder communication: can run working sessions with Billing/FP&A, capture definitions, and drive decisions under time pressure. Agile / fast-moving environment: comfortable with frequent working meetings and rapid iteration.   Nice-to-Have Snowflake familiarity: understands how data lands in a warehouse and how curated datasets are consumed by BI. dbt familiarity (Cloud or Core): enough to "speak dbt” during handoff (not primary implementer). FP&A / forecasting or subscription revenue domain exposure: helpful for understanding forecasting requirements and definitions. Experience producing validation tie-outs / reconciliation checks to confirm automation matches existing outputs.
