Job Title: WordPress Developer

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Remote WordPress Developer to deliver fast, scalable, and high-performing websites across diverse projects.

Strong expertise in WordPress, Node.js, technical & off-page SEO, performance optimization, and UI/UX is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites remotely

* Handle Node.js integrations and backend logic

* Optimize website speed and performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, lazy loading)

* Implement image compression and media optimization (WebP, responsive images)

* Support SEO off-page and technical SEO requirements

* Write clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java

* Ensure responsive UI/UX across desktop and mobile

* Fix bugs, plugin conflicts, and performance issues

* Manage updates, backups, and website security

* Work with staging and live environments

* Collaborate remotely via Slack/Trello/Teams/Asana/Project tools

Required Skills

* Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (remote experience is a big plus)

* Strong knowledge of Node.js

* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java

* Experience supporting SEO off-page & technical SEO

* Solid understanding of UI/UX principles

* Strong background in speed optimization & Core Web Vitals

* Knowledge of image compression techniques

* Experience with Git/version control

* Familiarity with hosting, servers, CDN, and cPanel

* Self-managed, reliable, and able to hit deadlines without micromanagement

Nice to Have

* Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Pixel
