Volunteer UI/UX Designer This Volunteer UI/UX Designer role requires experience in designing digital products, with a strong focus on utilizing Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and design systems. The candidate will collaborate with engineering teams for smooth handoffs, apply user-centered design principles for web/mobile, and iterate based on user feedback. Job Responsibilities: Design & Prototype: Create intuitive, user-centric interfaces (high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, user flows) specifically using Figma. Design Systems: Build and maintain component libraries and design systems in Figma for consistency. Collaboration: Work with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical, functional designs, ensuring smooth developer handoffs. User Research & Testing: Gather user feedback, analyze usability findings, and incorporate data into design improvements. Iterative Design: Rapidly iterate on designs, troubleshoot UX problems, and refine visual elements. Requirements: Experience: 2–4 years in UI/UX or product design. Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Prototyping). Skills: Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design, user experience principles, and UI design standards.
