We have designed five operational automation systems and need someone to build and deploy them. The blueprints exist. What we need now is the person who can make them run against live ERP data, a real AP email inbox, and a 46-person team. This is an execution role, not a strategy role. You will be handed specifications and asked to build. WHAT YOU WILL OWN: AP Invoice Automation — Monitor an inbox for vendor invoices. Parse PDFs. Match to open purchase order receipts in our ERP. Auto-enter billing data via browser automation (Playwright). Log exceptions and move on. Five vendors cover roughly 80% of volume. Start there. Sales and Operations Dashboards — Build and deploy React dashboards for sales reps and branch managers. Flask or FastAPI middleware pulling ERP exports on a schedule and serving them as API endpoints. Specs already designed. You build and host them. PO Lifecycle Tracker — Flask/SQLite backend already architected. Five-stage purchase order dashboard with KPI tracking and escalation routing. Deploy it against live data and keep it running. SKU Matching Engine — Cross-reference customer takeoff documents against our product item master. Match on product type, specs, and dimensions. Output SKU, coverage per unit, and order quantities. Converts a customer estimate into a priced bill of materials. AI Integration Layer — Python scripts calling a large language model API for invoice extraction and document parsing. A reference database agents can query for prior work so the system improves over time. REQUIRED SKILLS: Python Playwright or Selenium (browser automation / RPA) Flask or FastAPI React / JSX PDF parsing SQLite / SQL LLM API integration (Claude, OpenAI, or similar) Server deployment and maintenance PREFERRED: ERP experience (any platform — Spruce, Sage, Epicor, or similar) Distribution or manufacturing operations background Experience building automation for real business workflows, not just demos Can take a project from spec to production independently HOW WE WORK: Fully remote. Onboarding and system walkthroughs done via video call. Ongoing collaboration over video and screen share. You need to be reachable and responsive. Feedback loops are short — you will work directly with the people whose workflows you are automating. WHO DOES WELL HERE: You have built automation that runs in production, not just scripts you ran once. You are comfortable working around systems that were not designed for developers. You flag problems clearly instead of silently guessing. You ship 75% that works rather than wait for 100% that is perfect. TO APPLY: Send a brief description of an automation system you built and deployed in a real business — what it replaced, what stack you used, and what broke along the way. Company details shared after initial screening. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
