Full Job Description
Title: Sr. Software Developer/Tech Architect

Location: US (Remote)

This is a W2 position open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents (Green Card holders) due to project requirements.

Employment Type: Contract – 1 Year

Prerequisites and Qualifications

8+ years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a hands-on Technical Architect.
Practical experience in Java, Node.js, and .NET, with design and development work in at least two of these stacks.
Strong background in banking or financial applications (minimum 2 years).
Expertise in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture.
Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) including containerization (Docker/K8s).
Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
Experience in CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, monitoring, and application performance tuning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with payment systems, ISO20022, SWIFT, ACH, RTP (Preferred).
Job Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex banking applications.
Create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), system integration diagrams, and data models.
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks and architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native).
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
Technical Leadership
Participate in customer workshops, architecture reviews, and technical presentations.
Provide technical guidance to development teams working in Java, NodeJS, and .NET.
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization sessions.
Define coding standards, best practices, and architectural governance.
Integration & API Architecture
Architect REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, event streaming, and middleware integrations.
Experience with API platforms (Mulesoft, Apigee, Kong, etc.).
Design secure integrations with third-party systems, fintechs, and internal banking platforms.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
