Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer
Contract/ Contract to Hire
Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities:
Develop highly efficient, scalable, and high-quality software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
Enhance and maintain on-premises and internal PaaS applications, and actively migrate/re-platform them to AWS according to project timelines.
Design and implement serverless architectures from containerized applications.
Build industry-standard APIs and support routing, connectivity protocols, and policy implementation.
Design, develop, and implement architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Anticipate downstream and upstream impacts of technical decisions and plan for future scalability.
Promote and establish a culture of software craftsmanship and best practices, including TDD/BDD, unit and integration test automation, CI/CD.
Drive performance improvements through monitoring, metrics, trend analysis, and cost optimization.
Ensure adherence to security standards and privacy/compliance requirements early in the development lifecycle.
Proactively identify, resolve, and prevent technical debt.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to share ideas and communicate clearly and effectively.
Lead and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Create and maintain technical documentation and playbooks.
Analyze and communicate trade-offs between usability, performance, and scalability.
Manage product upgrades and patches.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in Java, Full-Stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python development.
Experience with GitHub and/or GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
Strong experience writing unit tests using TDD and BDD methodologies.
Hands-on experience with service virtualization and test automation tools such as WireMock and Mockito.
Experience designing and writing automated tests for backend systems using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, ReadyAPI, etc.
Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and CircleCI
Strong experience with AWS cloud and serverless technologies, including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, SageMaker, Athena, etc.
Experience with relational and object databases and RESTful web services, microservices, and service-based architectures.
Experience working in Agile environments using workload management tools such as VersionOne or Agility.
Strong troubleshooting, deployment, and systems integration experience.
Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Flexibility and willingness to take on challenges outside of your comfort zone.

Preferred Qualifications (Competitive Edge):
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
Experience creating automation test reports using tools such as Cucumber Reports and Extent Reports.
Experience with OpenShift.
Working knowledge of MQ.
AWS Certification preferred.
DevOps and/or automation experience in testing, building, and deployment pipelines.
Experience developing software in the airline industry.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Client UX operating systems.
