This role designs, develops, and maintains scalable business intelligence solutions with a strong focus on Sigma and SQL-based data modeling. The BI Developer partners with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, validate data accuracy, and build impactful dashboards and reporting solutions. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring data integrity, usability, and clarity in presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences. Guide and mentor the BI team in aligning daily execution with long-term analytics strategy, promoting clarity, ownership, and timely project completion. What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)                 Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Sigma, leveraging strong SQL skills to build performant and scalable data models. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from data warehouses and operational systems. Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear, effective BI solutions. Validate and reconcile data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs. Present findings and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams, translating data into meaningful business narratives. Optimize and enhance existing dashboards for performance, usability, and visual clarity. Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines, data models, and reporting structures. Prioritize and manage multiple reporting requests and BI initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Establish and maintain BI best practices, documentation standards, and data governance procedures. Provide support and training to business users on dashboard functionality and self-service reporting capabilities. Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to BI team members, ensuring alignment with the overall data vision and successful on-time delivery of key initiatives. Qualifications What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications) 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics roles. 2+ years hands-on experience with Sigma required. Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, aggregations, and performance tuning. Proven experience designing and delivering high-quality BI dashboards and visualizations. Experience validating data accuracy and performing data reconciliation across multiple systems. Ability to clearly present and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and operational excellence.
