We are seeking an experienced Software Programmer/Developer to design, build, and support software that connects manufacturing systems that will include (SCADA/HMI) to enterprise platforms in the near future.

This is a "real-world" solutions position that is essential for production, integrations, and automation across the organization. Actual experience is essential for the successful candidate. This position will travel to our Woodbine, Iowa location as needed.

What You’ll Do

· We need actual experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software using Java, Python, and Jython

Build integrations between plant-floor systems and enterprise applications (APIs, databases, services)
Work with SQL databases and troubleshoot production-facing issues
Focus on Ignition Software Development
Develop and support Ignition projects (Perspective/Vision), tags/UDTs, alarms, historian, and Jython scripts
What You Bring

Required:

· 5+ years of actual experience with Java, Python, and Jython

SQL and integration troubleshooting skills
Git/version control knowledge and solid software development fundamentals
Ability to work full-time on-site
Highly Preferred:

· Proven experience with Inductive Automation Ignition Software Development (Perspective/Vision, scripting, tags/UDTs, alarms/historian)

Knowledge of manufacturing/SCADA background (OPC UA, PLC connectivity, MQTT)
MES/ERP integration experience
