This senior individual-contributor role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining reliable backend software within a defined problem space. The role emphasizes strong execution, sound technical decision-making, and consistent delivery of high-quality systems that support product and business goals.


You’ll help modernize services and improve quality through hands-on development and day-to-day technical leadership. This includes elevating code quality, supporting predictable delivery, and providing practical guidance that helps the broader team ship maintainable software.

What You’ll Do



Design and implement features and services using established architectural patterns
Write high-quality, maintainable code and take ownership of systems within your domain
Improve reliability, performance, and security through disciplined engineering practices
Participate in design discussions and provide recommendations within a defined scope
Review code, share best practices, and support the growth of less experienced engineers
Collaborate with product partners, designers, and engineers to deliver agreed outcomes


Qualifications



Strong experience building and evolving backend systems using C#, .NET, and SQL Server in AWS
4+ years of experience designing scalable, distributed systems and cloud-based architectures
Proven ability to own complex technical work from concept through deployment
Strong technical judgment and the ability to influence engineering decisions without formal authority
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and elevate quality through clear standards and practical coaching
A bias for action paired with a high bar for reliability, security, and long-term maintainability
