Want to be part of our team? SEMCON is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer / Developer to support the Second Level Software Engineering team in support of NCR capabilities. This position is located on site at the William J. Hughes Technical Center and supports FAA systems through software development, testing, and system documentation activities. The Software Engineer will provide second-level software engineering support within an FAA environment, including but not limited to: Supporting engineering and technical reviews   Developing software modifications to NCR baseline CCDs, PTRs, and HDRs, including associated test documentation   Preparing and releasing maintenance guidelines, maintenance updates, and technical documentation for field sites   Preparing and distributing System Support Modifications (SSMs), System Technical Releases (STRs), System Documentation Releases (SDRs), Maintenance Alerts, Notices, System Support Directives (SSDs), and related field documentation   Supporting test plan development and execution   Creating unit tests, integration tests, test cases, test results, and expected results This role supports NCR systems and requires experience working across both software development and documentation processes. Technologies include Java, PostgreSQL, Maven, Linux/Red Hat, Git and GitLab, and container technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field   3 to 5 years of relevant software engineering or development experience   Experience working in structured, regulated, or FAA/NAS environments preferred   Strong technical writing and documentation skills  This is an in-person position, requiring work on site five days per week at the William J.
