Note - to be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in professional web application development and 4+ years of experience with the following technologies - C#, .NET, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Software Engineer to join our team! This position will focus on new development and upgrades of legacy applications for external clients. This Software Engineer will be joining a professional services team which values collaboration and communication, pays attention to detail, and has a consultative mindset.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Laravel framework for development of custom web applications and sites
Develop web applications
Architect n-Tier applications
Design and improve database schemas
Tune Microsoft SQL Server database queries
Implement APIs
Design user interfaces using responsive design
Implement automated tests such as Behat testing, Unit testing and post deployment validation
Responsible for the deployment of new product releases
Work with the team to translate business and product requirements into estimates and detailed technical specifications, architectures, and extensible code
Collaborate with clients to better understand requirements
Complete assigned stories, bugs and tasks within the committed timeframe analyzed with technical leads and/or business analysts each sprint
Present internal end-of-sprint or client demos as scheduled
Actively participate in sprint retrospectives and planning ceremonies, as well as technical planning meetings or internal collabs
Be an advocate for best practices, reliable, scalable, and performant code
Communicate in a proactive, timely manner via multiple channels (Email, Teams, Slack, Jira)
Qualifications:

4+ years of professional web application development experience
4+ years of developing PHP applications under LAMP using frameworks such as Laravel, or others
3+ years of experience with the following technologies - C#, .NET, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience with Salesforce integrations and migrations
Experience with deploying to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Pantheon or others
Experience with GitHub
Familiarity with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
Ability to analyze, estimate, and clarify requirements with Business Analyst(s)
Experience with the Agile process and Scrum framework
Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical people, therefore, strong written and oral communication skills a must
Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a larger team
Additional Skills / Experience Preferred:

Microsoft Power BI experience is desirable
Able to multi-task and coordinate work for multiple projects at the same time
Experience creating guidance, documentation, tools, and samples for engineers to utilize to accelerate / automate tasks
