This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Developer - REMOTE. In this role, you will research, design, implement, and manage software programs while actively supporting the application lifecycle. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation and enhancement of key applications supporting various clients. You'll work closely with a dedicated team to troubleshoot and improve existing applications, ensuring they meet the operational requirements and standards. This position emphasizes collaboration and leadership, fostering growth within the development team while enhancing the overall system performance.
Accountabilities
Develop, maintain, and update software applications using Java 8 or similar versions.
Engage in web development utilizing React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS.
Provide application support through database querying, environment deployments, and performance testing.
Utilize automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
Manage version control with Git and GitHub.
Work with Oracle Commerce products and assist in security updates as required.
Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Requirements
A minimum of Eight (8) years' relevant experience.
Degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field, or four additional years of related experience if the degree is not in the applicable field.
Competence in performing all functional duties independently.
Potential for special credentials or certifications at the Task Order level.
