Job Description: Renfroe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and proven experience leading and mentoring junior developers and offshore development teams. You will collaborate closely with the Business, QA, and DevOps partners to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions that support Renfroe’s long-term technology strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft, .Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript
Lead, guide, and mentor onshore and offshore engineering teams to ensure delivery standards and best practices
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and testing workflows
Ensure performance, security, and reliability are built into application design and implementation
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning sessions
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and tooling
REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
7+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET development and Azure cloud services (Azure VMs, App Services, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, development, and query optimization
Experience building and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with GitHub or other source control platforms
Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and management
Experience with Octopus Deploy or other deployment automation tools
Experience working with data and reporting tools, including designing dashboards and generating actionable insights (PowerBI, SSRS, etc)
Proven experience leading and mentoring offshore development teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Excellent communication and team-leadership capabilities
