Navusoft products enable a strategic approach to sales and after-sales service by providing innovative software to align sales, service level management, technical communication, field service management, asset management, and customer care to maximize customer retention and profitability. Waste and recycling companies use Navusoft to eliminate the casual commitment to service standards, inefficient operations, poor care of assets, inaccurate billing, outdated connectivity and other issues that hamper a company’s ability to grow after-sales business. Navusoft provides technology tools to transform the service delivery of a traditional waste vendor into a modern, growing, customer service centric operation.

The Role

Navusoft is seeking the right candidate to design, build, and maintain world-class software for our industry-leading SaaS solution. The Senior Software Engineer role will focus on coding the core services and web interface of our applications. This position will be responsible for mentoring other engineers, establishing proven development patterns, and upholding the platform’s quality and performance through disciplined quality engineering methods. The role will also provide technical leadership to a small group of engineers (approximately 4–5), helping guide and support their work and development while remaining deeply hands-on in the codebase. This is a senior-level, influential role that will have a direct impact on how our platform functions and evolves.

Other Responsibilities Include:

· Provide day-to-day technical guidance and oversight for a small team of engineers, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with platform architecture and coding standards.

· Communicate complex concepts and workflows in a way that is engaging and understood by users at various technical levels.

· Collaborate with product, training, and implementation teams to ensure the user experience meets or exceeds customer needs.

· Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by customers and other employees.

· Fortify best practices in terms of development cycle, release engineering, and quality control.

· Strong knowledge of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture

· Experience in, or knowledge of, the waste and recycling industry

· Proficiency in web service (Java, Spring) and web-based development (Svelte)

· Experience with database technologies, design, and performance (SQL, No-SQL), including PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL

· Experience with mobile development and release processes for both Android & Apple

· Hands-on experience with managing products on Amazon Web Services or similar cloud technologies

· Hands-on development experience in Python and/or Go

· Motivated self-starter with a focus on results
