JOB SUMMARY

Informatix is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to enhance existing applications and build new features and services within a collaborative, agile development environment. This hands-on role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and implementing full‑stack solutions under the guidance of a Software Architect.

The ideal candidate is proficient across both front‑end and back‑end technologies, produces high‑quality and maintainable code, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile SDLC alongside developers, testers, and project stakeholders.

Ideal candidate will be located in the Sacramento or Northern California area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
7+ years of enterprise software development experience
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work directly with clients and customers
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Technical Proficiencies

Java/JEE (EJBs, JDBC, Servlets, JMS, Hibernate)
Angular (v10+ preferred)
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
UI/UX design and responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Material Design)
RESTful API development
Git, Node.js, npm
JSON/XML
Database design, development, and optimization
Web application security best practices
MVC frameworks and solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native services (AWS Associate certification preferred)
Experience with SaaS and API-centric platforms
Familiarity with OpenAPI
Agile development methodology experience
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
Experience in mobile development and/or data visualization (e.g., d3.js)
Background in remittance processing and document imaging systems is a plus
Experience documenting systems and processes
WORKING CONDITIONS

At-home work arrangement based on company policy.
Participation in an on-call schedule for incident response (as needed).
Occasional travel may be required.
Ideal candidate will be located in the Sacramento or Northern California area.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
